Netflix just released the trailer for it's upcoming release, Enola Holmes, set to reach our screens on September 23 this year. ( Click here to watch the trailer. )

The mystery revolves around the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes' sister Enola Holmes, embarking on a journey to find their missing mother. The story is based on the book series of the same name by Nancy Springer.

The movie stars Milli Bobby Brown. Helena Bonham Carter, Sam Claflin, Henry Cavil, Adeel Akhtar, Fiona Shaw, Frances de la Tour, Louis Patridge and Susie Wokoma have taken the roles of supporting actors.

Jack Thorne, the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child famed writer has penned down the screenplay of the movie. It is directed by Harry Bradbeer, popularly known for Fleabag and Killing Eve and edited by Adam Bosman. Music is composed by Daniel Pemberton.

The trailer promises a strong female character, who can watch, listen and fight but does not embroider. Enola is set on a journey to find her missing mother and to do so she must overcome the challenges that falls on her way.

Where Mycroft in his preference sends her to a school to transform into a more acceptable form for the society, Sherlock on the other hand, comments,"she seems intelligent". Which is soon proven when we see her outwitting the infamous sleuth himself and begins on her chosen path.

The game sets afoot, and she manages to stay hidden from her brothers by becoming something unexpected, "a lady". On her adventure we see that she is accompanied by a "useless boy".

What she makes of his company and to where her journey ends, we'll find out soon.
